Hi, my name is Mark Nossiter and I am the owner of i dek r 8 Ltd, a Timaru-based painting and decorating company.
I have been a painter/decorator for many years, completing my apprenticeship in 1980, and going into business for myself shortly afterwards. During this time I was based in Cromwell in Central Otago, working on the Ministry of Works houses. I did this for three years.
I then moved to Timaru in 1984 doing work for McRaeway Homes as well as picking up other work both locally and further afield. In the mid 1990s I started working again in Cromwell and the wider Central Otago area, employing tradesmen from the area. Business boomed and I had 23 emloyees, five based in Cromwell and 18 in Timaru.
Through the years I have worked on commerical and domestic work in the McKenzie Country, Canterbury, and Otago. In 2006 I downsized and stopped working in Central Otago, concentrating on the Canterbury region.
In 2014 I changed my business name to i dek r 8 Ltd, and we specialise in all forms of painting, wallpapering, Gib-stopping and waterblasting. We pride orselves on doing the best job possible, and providing a professional and friendly service at a reasonable price.
